2018 Lamborn

2018 Lamborn "Mary-Hāna Rosé" Wine

2018 Lamborn "Mary-Hāna Rosé" Wine

“With an incredible pink hue reminiscent of Gala apples, this Rosé has a strapping aroma of bramble that becomes almost creamy in its richness and depth. On the palate it exhibits generous red berry fruits with hints of citrus zest. With no lingering residual sugar, there is no ‘stickiness’ that is associated with sweet Rosés; just lively fruit and an unforgettable crisp finish. The ideal Summer Sipper for any season!” - Heidi Barrett, winemaker

Produced in the saignée (bleeding off the juice after limited contact with skins) fashion and fermented dry, our Rosé is darker in color than many in the market today. The presence of color can be directly associated with flavor, of which this wine has plenty. We took the opportunity to name this pink wine after the two oldest (and only female) members of the fourth Lamborn generation, cousins Mary and Hāna, 15 and 14 years of age respectively.

Excellent dry rose' with fruitiness especially strawberry to the nose. Pares well with any summer fare.

Easily the best rose I have ever had. My wife loves roses so I have had a few - all are (mostly) drinkable and some are pretty good. But the Lamborn rose is by far the best I have had.

We drink mostly light, dry and crisp French Rosés. Wanted to try the Lamborn Rosé as the notes sounded good. What we got was a wonderful bottle of yum!

Translated, the Rosé has a great nose of fresh red berries and citrusy, floral notes. On the palate, strawberry and a little citrus with a lively, long finish.

Very nice!

We tried the Mary-Hana Rose a few years ago, before Rose took off! It was wonderful then and again now. This is a fresh, crisp wine and wonderful wine.

This Rose is simply outstanding. With the summer heat in Phoenix, this will be a refreshing treat!

While still a small segment of the wine market, Rose's, are also the fastest growing one. Unfortunately, it has become a cluttered space, so it is really nice to find a high quality one from the U.S. in a sea of same old, same olds.

ok so this is probably the most $ Rose I"ve bought yet. I started drinking them in about 2011 when my usual whites began to give me heartburn. I have had many many of them since then, mostly from France. This is the first US one I would say is truly outstanding. I do drink it all year long and winters in SC aren't too cold so it's very enjoyable whether it be July or January. I will share this with a very select few! Just a truly awesome wine.
